Description of the Square terrain in Cimei Township
1.Summary
Cimei Islet is a segmented square mountain islet. The land is roughly flat, and successively stretches down from east to west. There are steep cliffs along east coast. The height above sea level is about 66 meters, more than 30 meters in the midland, and down to more than 10 meters when it comes to west coast, just like an inclined tableland.

The sides of the north islet are surrounded by hills, forming a small basin terrain. There is a small brook in the middle of basin flowing toward west and going under the sea from Eagle Tower on the west side, which is the gap. This terrain is divided into two villages, West Lake and East Lake villages.

The coasts around island are all coastal terrain. From south coast to east coast, stretching to bays, capes, wave erosion platform, wave erosion cavity of northwest coast is the place with most beautiful landscape of Cimei along terrain.
2.Description of wave erosion platform

Wave erosion platform is mostly distributed in Big Lion Scenic Area and little Taiwan Scenic Area. The most famous wave erosion platform in Big Lion Scenic Area is Lungcheng. When the tides are down, the platform is exposed above sea level, becoming one of the famous fishing lands. When the tides are up and waters cover the platform, it is just like a dancing flying dragon and so spectacular. Little Taiwan Scenic Area is the place with most wave erosion platforms. Among them, Little Taiwan wave erosion platform is the biggest and the most attractive. You could not image the Taiwan-like shape without being there by yourself. Around it, there are some platforms which are about 7 or 8 meters deep from the sea bottom.
