CiMei Shredded Squid was
invented by Jhu, BaoHuang, a local resident and a current
General Chief in CiMei Fisherman Association. Mr. Jhu,
BaoHuang started his research and development of CiMei
Shredded Squid in Year 69th of Republic of China (1980), and
during the period involved in data collection and proceeding
machine design, which makes the products better looking and
tasting than others sold in market. After 5 to 6 years of
promotion, CiMei Shredded Squid builds its reputation, and
tourists from Taiwan, PengHu ¡Vmigrants and residents in Ma
Gang Island, and local people all chose it as a tourism
gift.
CiMei Shredded Squid has its two source materials in
different seasons, such as local sources in summer and
Indonesia sources around South Latitude 7 degree in winter.
Chief Jhu, BaoHuang considers that the best time for
purchasing Squids shall be periods after egg laying, for
better taste and quality due to fatness of squids. Based on
