Fenchazai is also called ¡§Yunti¡¨
with the height of 50 meters. The mynas usually gather in
group here that provides the place as a good location to
watch birds. The best position to watch
birds is by the cliff which is at the east of the Windmill.
The ¡§Wind Power Plant¡¨ (The first one in
Taiwan) is built near Dongkan. Due to unsteadily wind
direction, the experiment of wind power
failed. Now this plant is a ruin but become another
landscape in Chimei. |

Walking from the pavilion of
Micro Taiwan southwards, people could see a cape
with the very image of a cattle. Local people call it as
Fenchazai. People could walk to the coast around Niu-mu
Ground in the trip about five to six minutes southwards if
they have enough free time to walk more than 200 slate
ladders. Going upstairs from the ground is like to climb the
good-guy slope. Nearly climbing these ladders has become the
best exercise for the villagers both in the morning and
evening. |
