He devoted himself to inshore
fishing as a captain. He often called nearby boats on radio
to capture fish when he found out groups of fish. Township
people respected him so much and said how could there be
such an honest and kind person? He also grated a reward from
Penghu county government. The other thing deserved to be mentioned is that he had a education family which bred up 2 principals and 3 teachers (among them, one was PHD, another one was master, and the other 3 graduated from university). He was well known to every family in Chimei Township. Even in whole Penghu he was a legend that everybody would click the tongue in admiration. His son taught countless students of Chimei Township and Penghu, had pupils everywhere and spared no efforts to serve the hometown. |
