ˇ@ It was really abnormal at that time that Mr. Chang went to Pachao and Magong to study Han culture and Chinese herb research and founded a traditional private school to teach folks after he finished study. Mover, he opened a Chinese Herb shop to provide materials of medicinal use when civilians had any illness. He served folks with all his efforts. He always remained the justice so that he often conciliated disputes for villagers. He was considerably respected and appreciated by villagers therefore Chimei villagers all called him Grand Mr. Chang.
