Character Introduction
Abalone, a sort of small Haliotis, is cultivated up to 13 fish farms constantly built up in CiMei, since successful development by Lyu, CiZong in Year 70th of Republic of China (1981). CiMei Abalone Production and Marketing Group and CiMei Haliotis Theme Exhibition were established, for better cooperation among cultivators for development and idea communications, accurately following governing rules to protect rights of members, completing marketing orders to promote technology and product quality, and shaping industrial characters of CiMei 13 fish farms.
The whole of CiMei Haliotis Theme Exhibition is open for the public, including the first and second floor exhibition areas to introduce cultivation process of CiMei Abalone, body structure of Haliotis, cultivation methods, scattering of Haliotis farms in Taiwan areas, Taiwan Haliotis, Haliotis all over the world, and decorations made by Haliotis shells.
