PengHu residents living with sea, always have respects to sun, moon, mountain, and river in nature, and thus feasts in lunar calendar became the important day for people's praying in household. Household praying activities in ShueiAn Village include the followings¡G

Second day of a new year, 3. the fourth day in Jan. to receive gods, 4. the ninth day in Jan. for heaven god¡¦s birthday, 5. the tenth day in Jan. land god¡¦s birthday, 6. the 15th day in Jan. the Lantern Festival, 7.the second day of Feb. banyan god birthday, 8. the 19th day of Mar. Buddha birthday, 9. 23rd of Mar. MaZu birthday, 10.ChingMing, 11.the 5th day of May, dragon boat festival, 12. the seventh day of July, Chinese Valentine, 13. the 14th day of July praying at the gate, 14. the 15th day of July, Mid-July PuDu, 15. the 8th of Aug. King farewell (the special praying in ShueiAn Village), 16.the 15th day of Aug. On New year day, not offering seven meals for praying, not eating rice soups, and not saying inauspicious words, 4. taro is necessary in offerings, indicating ¡§get employed¡¨ , guava and tomato are prohibited, and 5.the heaven god coming to the world on 25th of Dec. and 5th of Jan., under wears of female cannot be put outdoors for sun dry
