Dayi Temple is located at Zhuwan Village, which is a “public temple” in the village and a belief center. Of the villagers.  The main God, Wenheng, in Dayi Temple is very efficacious.  There are a lot of mysterious stories spread.  For example, The God ever made its presence to kick out the artillery shells and protected Zhuwan Village from the trample of French Army during the war between China and France. Besides, there is no status of the horse-servant by the “Chitu Horse” at the beginning.  One day the villagers found that there is a horse entered to the villager’s house at the midnight.  So, the temple had to model a servant to take charge this horse.  The villagers build a seabed palace with local stones and raised the turtles in the basement where is the place that people would linger on without any thought of leaving.

The near village is Xiaomen northwards, the tourists could visit Whale Cave and Geology Display Center there or go southward along the seaside to Erkan Old Residence of Chen Family and view the landscape along the coast.

One-day tour.  The tourists could set out from Makung City, travel along the 3^rd Countyroad, pass through Huxi and Baisha Townships and arrive at The Great Bridge over the Sea.  Take a rest here to observe the longest bridge over the sea in The Far East and the Giant Banyan in Tongliang Village.   After passing the great bridge, the tourists could keep proceeding to Xiaoman Village in Xiyu Township to visit Whale Cave and Geology Display Center and tasteA-hong cactus ice located at the entrance of the Whale Cave; then go along the seaside road to Dayi Temple in Zhuwan Village. The tourists could look around the sceneries along the way and or to see Erkan Traditional Villages and Dakouye Stone Pillars.  In the afternoon, the tourists could eat at Chidong Village.  After the lunch, they could visit Chixi Basalt Pillars, Niuxin Mountain and Qimawan Fort; then keep going to Xiyu East Fort, Xiyu West Fort, Xipu Fake Cannon and the Lighthouse in Fisherman Island.  The tourists could stay here to enjoy Xiyu Sunset as the ending of the one-day route.

There is a basement in Dayi Temple. There is a pond with turtles inside.  The tourists should watch head and pay attention to the safety while walking and do not play inside it. Tel:06-9981154
