Seaside Road is a two-way industry road along the east coast in Xiyu Township. It starts from Hengjiao Village in the north, passes Zhuwan, Erkan and Chima Villages  to Neian Village.  The seashore landscapes are various along the coast. The bays, the sandy beaches, the platforms with marine abrasion, the columned basalts, the stone weirs and the marine creatures in wetlands are plentiful.  There is a “Stone God” by the shipbuilding plant at the south of Zhuwan Village along the way.  Next to the “Stone God”, there is a natural, extraordinary sight against the gravity.  A big stone,  has been departed from the main rock and located at its upper vertical place, still reminds steady.  Besides, the net-cultivation in Zhuwan Village is a special fishery in Pengfu.  On both sides of the seaside road are bikeways.

There is a parking lot at the location of Dakouye Stone Pillar; the tourists could also park the vehicles at the open space by the roadside.

The tourists could observe the sceneries from the north of the seaside road, there are Diyi Temple, Erkan Old Residence of Chen Family and Traditional Villages, Dakouye Stone Pillars, Qimawan Cannon, Niuxin Mountain and Xiyu East Fort. Xiyu East Fort is an area under the Military Control.

One-day tour.  The tourists could set out from Makung City, travel along the 3^rd Countyroad, pass through Huxi and Baisha Townships and arrive at The Great Bridge over the Sea.  Take a rest here to observe the longest bridge over the sea in The Far East and the Giant Banyan in Tongliang Village.   After passing the great bridge, the tourists could keep proceeding to Xiaoman Village in Xiyu Township to visit Whale Cave and Geology Display Center and tasteA-hong cactus ice located at the entrance of the Whale Cave; then go along the seaside road to Dayi Temple in Zhuwan Village. The tourists could look around the sceneries along the way and or to see Erkan Traditional Villages and Dakouye Stone Pillars.  In the afternoon, the tourists could eat at Chidong Village.  After the lunch, they could visit Chixi Basalt Pillars, Niuxin Mountain and Qimawan Fort; then keep going to Xiyu East Fort, Xiyu West Fort, Xipu Fake Cannon and the Lighthouse in Fisherman Island.  The tourists could stay here to enjoy Xiyu Sunset as the ending of the one-day route.

The seaside road is the road along with the east coast of Xiyu Township.  The tourists could observe the coast landscape along the way. Pay attention to the safety if the tourists would like to play in the water, harmony with the tides time, and prepare all things well; for example wear non-slip shoes and avoid burning.  Besides, there is no bus, the tourists had better drive private vehicles there.
