Cage-cultured (Breeding fish in box-shaped closed net), a burgeoning fishery production activity in recent years, is praised as “Pasturage in the Ocean”.  Cage-cultured of Xi-yu township mainly centralized in the inner bay of Bamboo bay village.  Cage-cultured, in accordance with the Set Net System, making the flexible cage system into an improved one with ropes as the net frame, attach water floats to prop up the net weight, and cement anchors to make it immovable in sand-formed seabed.  The whole set/gear sways with waves and yet not be entangled with each other.  Installed in the bay, the Set Net System making use of the ebb and flow to bring in running water, carry away the excrement and leftover fodder of fishes.  High economic value fish types such as Pagrus major, Cobia and Grouper are the main catch (under the system) and will be marketed to places including Taiwan, Japan, Europe and America etc.  Against the external waters of north of Nei-an installed a batch of Set Nets as well, yet affected by weather (especially typhoon), water quality is good enough.
