| The Penghu Aquarium,located in the seaside of Qitou Village and opened in January, 1997, containing many kinds of marine life inhabiting the Taiwan Strait and the South China Sea. In the Aquarium of two-floor building, various kinds of fish are swimming leisurely, are with the information center, photograph Exhibition Room and various display chests. The most famous one in this aquarium is a transparent and arc-like submarine channel. Walking in it is like putting yourself into a sea world. The aquarium not only exhibits its abundant sea life, but also provides the tourists to observe fishes from various angles. On the second floor is the touching area, where is full of starfish and several cute marine creatures for the tourists to touch. Besides, there are an outdoor scenic balcony and a long covered corridor for the tourists to observe downward the skates roaming slowly in the outdoor ecology pond. |
