description：

Yuanbaiyu is located in the east of Qitou Village, Baisha Island. The landform of this islet is hill. It is named by the appearance similar to a scallop laying over the water. On ebb, people could wade to Shagang Village which is at the opposite by the wetlands of 4.6 kilometers. The shallow path between Caoyu and Shigandand is full of life. The tourists could see abundant ecology in shallow.
The dolphins always migrate along the maritime space between Shagang and Yuanbaiyu. Along the north bank of the islet is various of columned basalt joints, especially well known by stone-pen (stone pillar) and inkstone (erosive rock). The the east coast is a flat columned basalt which is like a pleated skirt while looking afar from the sea. The landforms of the island is multiple and various, worth to appreciate, and listed as a Basalt Reservation Area.

The green baryan in front of Baoding Temple of Gangzi Village has been shady; besides, the tourists could also take a look of the old residences around.

advice：

The ship routes for the yacht companies are different in Baisha Township. Roughly, they are divided into the Northeast Sea Line and North Sea Line. The tourists could take a one-day tour to the islated islands areound or two-day tour to stay overnight and take the early shipboat back to Qitou Wharf and then proceed to Chikan Wharf for the transportation to the other courses by speedboat
