| Tongliang great banyan, located in front of Baoan Temple in Tongliang Village, with shade which made of its growing densely sticks, is more than three hundred years old. It is five meters tall. There are many different legends for the origin of the banyan. Recording to the Clan records from Baisha Township Records, This ancient banyan was planted by Linyaoqin who was a descendant of Lin Family in Tongliang in the Jiaqing period of Ching Dynasty. Another legend is that this banyan is floating from a sunken merchant ship to the seashore of Tongliang Village in the Kangxi period of Ching Dynasty. One villager picked it up and planted it infront of the Baoan Temple. Till now, it has been thrived with shade. Besides, it possesses more than 90 big roots which have covered the area more than 660 swuare meters. Tongliang great banyan is a rare shady area in Pengfu where the plant is not easy to grow up. The legendary antecedent of this banyan not only made itself a famous scenic spot in Pengfu but also one of the famour divine trees internally. There has been an oral praise about ¡§Tongliang Banyan, Chikan Temple¡¨ in Pengfu. |

| Both Tongliang Great Banyan and the Great Bridge over the Sea are located on the sourth port of Tongliang Village. It takes the tourists five minutes to walk from the bridge. The tourists could observe the fishing scenery along the way and then proceed to Xiyu Sceneric Area. |
