Haibin, located in the south bank of Houliao Village, commonly called Yamuzui, records the historic affairs that the Netherlanders has invaded Pengfu in 17 century. In Tianqi 2nd year of Ming Dynasty (1622), Leiersheng, the high ranking officers of Holland, conducted the army to invade Pengfu. Thirtysix villagers of Hujing Island drived the boats to attack the enemy with their utmost courage; unfortunately, they were killed by Holland Army, their heads was thrown into the ocean. It was the season that the wind comes from the south, the heads of these villagers that sacrifice themselves to guard the homeland were floating with the tide to current coast and were discovered. The villagers buried them locally and collected money to build a temple to worship and mourn them. The temple is named Sanshirengong Temple (the public temple for thirty braves) or Beishanyizhong (The Tomb for Beishan Loyalist). Pengfu internal gulf in front of the temple is a smooth tide area, the villagers will come here to collect shellfish on the ebb. On the coast are some pavilions which provide excellent syesight for the villagers to overlook the landscape along the coast of Dacang Island, Makung, Xiyu and Baisha.

Private vehicles: Drive from Makung along with the county road #203, pass through Dongwei, go northward across Zhongzheng Bridge and Yongan Bridge to Zhenhai Junior High School, then turn left to the country road, go through Watong Village and drive down along with the beach.

Mass Transport: Take the bus toward Waian, Tougliang from Makung Bus Head Station to Houliao Bus Station. Walk southward for a while after getting off the bus.

There is no accommodation in Baisha, the tourists could only lodge in Makung.

There is no restaurant in this village. Please go to the neighborhood of Baoan Temple for food.
