Chang, Shan-Chu, the father of Chang, Jung-Fa, the great man of
an internationally well-known shipping enterprise was from
Chungtun of Baisha Township. Chang was born in Keelung, and then
moved to Su-Ao. When he was young, he once run a shipping
business between Taiwan and Penghu, then expended it to
international sea and air transportation and became a well-known
entrepreneur. After he succeed in his career, he came back to
hometown with his mother very often, donated to benevolent and
rescue foundations, the reconstruction of temples and donated
baby carriages to kindergartens. In recent years, Chang had the
intent of investing and developing Penghu¡¦s tourism industry,
but failed because of the conservative local climate. It was
really a pity on expanding internationalized tourism business
for the local. |
