Fang was from a poor family and had an
upright character. He always kept his promises when
socializing with people and people far and near all
submitted him. When there was any unfair affair happened in
the hometown, Chang could solve it right away with a
sentence. Therefore, for all of his life, there was no
lawsuit in the 13 villages of Tingshan. He did not run any
business in his life, but liked to dabble in books. Whenever
he went out of town for examination, he would buy book back
home if he has spare money. His clan was separated from Lieh
Islet of Kinmen and lived in Penghu. There was no pedigree
of his clan before he started to compose and revise. |
