The former location of the
library, donated by Country gentleman Chen, NaiHuei , is in
Office of Country Representatives and later moved to the
current place. The Library adjacent to Country Office and
near BaiSha Elementary School and BaiSha Junior High School,
appears convenient in transportation and suitable for
outdoor education of schools, as well as a reading place for
students under leading of teachers in open hours. With
increasing of foreigner brides in Country during recent
years, the Library provides space for the language school.
It includes three floors to accommodate children reading
room, newspaper division, periodical division, general
reading room, and personal multi-media space, as well as
conference rooms and large multi-media rooms, provides
on-line inquiring services, and collects children books of
4,661, general books of 18,852, reference books of 633,
video tapes of 1,282, audio tapes of 316, and CD/VCD of 379. |
