Penghu

unique appearance that is long and round, has wide bottom and thin
up and has vertical edges. It belongs to yearly tendril vine
herbaceous plant
originally
produced in tropical Asia, China and India. It was imported into
Penghu in R.O.C 14 and adapted to the environment well so that it
became the Penghu only vegetable and fruit that smells good, tastes

shape, taste and color. In recent years it is deeply loved by
tourists and has become the featured meal in restaurants of Penghu
County. Plating sponge cucumber has become one of the popular
spring farming in the county. The fiber of over mature fruits is a
traditional washer for the folks. This county is the big production
place of Penghu sponge
cucumber
and the main production areas are Chungtun and Houliao. Most of the
products are sold to Magong. |
