For May Festival (Dragon Festival) , there is a proverb that ˇ§broken quilt can not be put aside before eating May Tzungtzuˇ¨, that is, after May Festival summer comes and North-eastern monsoon stops, and winter coats and quilts can be stowed.  Around May Festival is a spring and summer turning period, lots of surrounding poisons can hurt human, and people expect to expel all dislike with calamus and banyan branch and noon stored water.  Civil families believe binding calamus and banyan branch on doors or windows shall drive away evil spirits, that is ˇ§Banyan relieves burdens, and calamus brings healthˇ¨.  Eating Tzungtzu origins from Qu Yuan, the poet of State Chu in Battle Period.  On May Festival, ducks, chickens, and water melons will be put in shallow harbor areas of TongLiang Village for people collecting, and in the afternoon some well-swimming men jump into harbor in muss, a funny activity, but not yet as a regular one every year.
