Makung City is the main developing area in
Pengfu, includes administration, economy, religion and
traffic,¡Ketc. Makung could be divided into the urban
districts and the suburban districts. This city could be at
the interlacing of the present generation and the past
generation, people could see that the historic monuments
passing on past steps in ranges of cement architectures.
The location of the port is most important. Besides the
convenience of traffic, it is also the place for fish
bargains and for main transportation. Zhongzheng Road and
Minquan Road are the centralized place for the stores of
specialty, stones arts, and dried seafood. The fish market
at the third fishing port is the bargain place of local
fishery and recourses. Jumping from the noise in the urban
distincts, the living in the outskirts is obviously quieter
but still has its own living rules. The fishery becomes the
focus of their lives. The villagers around Pengnan almost
live on the sea no matter what season; especially people
live in Shili and Suogang who lean against the manufacturing
of aquatic products. As a result, the complete culture and
education facilities, abundant relic cultures and diversely
industrial structures are various living styles strung from
the historic steps. |
