Garden Wetlands Park is located at the north of Caiyuanli in Makung City and is next to Xingren Reservoir. The square measure is about fifty hectares, it was a fish cultivating area before and a man-made wetlands, a roost for birds. The County Government also plants the mangroves to nurse the abundant resources of this wetlands. Most of the birds are seabirds mainly, which include wild geese, the sandpipers, and the winter birds, etc. Nearly, the government has proceeded the whole scheme in hardware constructions to harmony with the environment in the neighborhood of the park of the bone pagoda. It is with the basic facilities for bird watching, for example, the bird-watching wall. This area is the only announced and the biggest bird watching area and the most complete wetlands in Makung.
