Guba Cenotaph is located
in the intersection of Minsheng Rd. and
Minzu Rd., this memorial stone is to remember
a Franch Lieutenant General, Guba, who died
in Fengfu in 1885. He has ever led
the Army land from Shili and occupied Makung.
This Cenotaph is originally a tomb.
In 1953, the former buried relics have moved
to Franch Public Tomb in Keelung.
Besides, there is a new, rebuilt cenotaph
re at the present address to offer a testimony
for the war in Pengfu. |
