明經進士
was commonly called Kungsheng or Hsiutsai. Tsai,
Yu-Cheng was one of the明經進士,
and he was born in Fengkueiwei. For the local
people, he took a lot of effort on the
reconstructions of Wenshi Academy and Wenchang
ancestral shrine. When Japanese was invading south
Taiwan, he prepared and held civil groups to protect
the neighborhoods. Moreover, he also had the
achievements such as editing Penghu notes, relieving
the people in stricken areas, giving papers of
words, and promoting poetry in Penghu( by inventing
Hsiying Recitation Association) etc. |
