Chen Chu Ching, born in Magong Chungyang Neighborhood, was full of entrepreneurship and a sense of honor. He also understood what happened at present time clearly and was fluent at Japanese. In the first year of R.O.C, he served as the head of Magong District. And when people from Chiangchunao of Wanan Village established the aquatic products association, he was employed as the first head of association. He was also involved into the operation of Penghu Ice Making Incorporation. Chen Chu Ching had great contributions to all aspects of Penghu area and was gradually considered one of the best rich gentry.
