Kuo, E-Hsiang was one also the last one of the four Chujen in Penghu, and who was born in Magong Tungchia. After granted the title of Chujen and came back to hometown, he taught in Wenshih Academy as the president. During Chinese-French War, he worked hard on preparing coast defenses, holding civil group to protect the villages and towns. Moreover, he once came forward to rise for the reconstruction of Magong Chenhuwang Temple, and also helped Lin Hao, a Kingmen Chujen who complied the Note of Penghu Hall to do interviews, having a great help on the record of Penghu history.
