To
memorialize ancestor JhuSheng,
JhuSheng Cultural Memorial Hall, a museum operated by local
residents, is founded by Mr.
Jhu,
HongCai, the fifth-generation owner of ShengSing Pastry Store,
to exhibit cultural relics left by ancestors and some self
collected objects. The Hall, set aside of ShengSing Pastry
Store on the busy street (JhengJhong Road) of MaGong City, has
three floors, with the first one to exhibit wood model and
equipment in pastry store, rice measuring cup and tea brick
prints in the former grocery of ShengSing, cultural relics left
by generations of ancestors, PengHu postcode during
Japanese-governance period, and coins after Ching Dynasty; the
second one to show personal collections of Mr. Jhu, such as
veined stones and corals; and the third one to set pottery and
ceramics made in the periods between ShiJhou Dynasty and Ching
Dynasty. The Hall holds regular exhibition, such as the special
exhibition of ¡§one piece of national treasure¡¨ for one-year term
commencing from every March. |
