Qianyitang still
maintains the family industry handed down
for generations. This building was built
in the 7th year of Dazhong in Japanese Occupation
and has been aged for more than eighty,
which is also the ancestral residence of
Xue Family. On the 15th of January, the
residents applied the building for the ¡§County
Historic Monuments¡¨ to Pengfu County Government
to maintain it continuously. At present,
the descendants keep living in this building
to run the business of Chinese herbal medicine.

characteristic¡G
The appearance
of Qianyitang Hall is a ¡§Baroque¡¨ style
with narrow width and deep Profundity, it
is also a layout of a store. It is a two-floor
construction with about 121.75 square meters.
The entrance on the first floor is a pulling
wooden door with the inscription of ¡§Qianyitang
Hall¡¨. On second floor is a bulged balcony;
besides, the parapet is with linear decorations.
The first floor is a shop including a counter
and the medicine closets¡Ketc. The wooden
stairs are the transition space to the second
floor. The front side of the second floor
is a hall for deities. All the inner structural
frames and partitions reflects the type
of traditional store on this building. Furthermore,
the furniture is also with an epochal characteristic.
The construction of Qianyitang Chinese Herbal
Medicine Shop composes both traditional
and western style which is rare in Pengfu.
