Shekung Temple was to commemorate the exploit of Shilang in the early year of Ching Dynasty. Wanchuan Well was legendary said that a well was gushing water continuously due to Shiland begged to the god when he encamped in Pengfu. This well got the name of ¡§Wanchuan Well¡¨, also named ¡§Shiquan Well¡¨, was because it gushed the water continuously. Shekung Temple was originally called the temple of Shi General, and was approximately built during the middle period of Kangxi Court, but the exact time was unknown. It was renamed Shekung Temple in Daoguang Period. This temple was located at Aodong Street and neighbored with Haishan Hall but was destroyed during the period of Chinese-France War. In 1914, Shekung Temple was moved into together with the Haitan Hall the cookhouse of Haitan pacesetters for worship and then was built by the descendants of the subordinates of Shilang.

Except for the entrance, the four directions of Shekung Temple were surrounded with compact walls. The sealed space and small external yards were its characteristics. The external diameter of Wanchuan Well is 107 centimeters, the inner diameter is 80 centimeters and the depth of the well is about three meters. The well on the ground was built by laying modern bricks and cement; the well under the ground was built by laying basalt. Shekung Temple has been the building of unify-yard construction since it was moved to Haitan Hall during Japanese Occupation. It, located northwards and faced southwards, offers the sacrifices to Jinghai Marquls- Shilang. Load-bearing walls and gabled log cabins composed the construction.
