PengHu Sailboard/ cobia Tourism Festival is one of 12 large local festivals in Taiwan area, also the important activity in November.  Correspond to winter tourism and local resource development, the modern festival and activity are held.  In PengHu fish farming in net and cast is prosperous, and sea productions become competitive in markets, especially cobia professionally cultivated in PengHu seas, even better than sailfish and salmon on meat quality.  In early autumn, the time with fattest cobia and north-eastern monsoon, is proper for sailboard activity to attract domestic and foreign visitors with sailboard competition and wind mill design.

The festival includes winter tour package, national wind mill design competition, and sailboard competition.  Photography competition, cobia feeding show, heart to heart (jelly candle making), special sale for PengHu products, print on T-shirts, cobia banquet, Mixer music band, ‘coper’ street dancer, little wind mill design, and DJ show are also interesting programs in the festival.

By airplanes (from Taipei, TaiJhong, JiaYi, Tainan, and Kaohsiung); by ships (starts from JiaYi and Kaohsiung) , drive along JieShou Rd., or take a bus (to the collective stop) and walk for five minutes to the site
