For the bird ecology in grasslands and wild land, the bird of Penghu, penghuana Alauda gulgula is the main community and a Penghu own subspecies. It still has Bubulcus ibis etc appearing in the grass environments such as Shihwei, Fengkuei, Tungpan etc. Forest side and brushes birds often appear in places such as Shuanghu Gargen, Tienjeng Lake, Chuyuasn etc with kinds of Phoenicurus auroreus, Turdus pallidus, Zosterops japonica, Streptopelia chinensis, Falco tinnunculus, Lanius cristatus, Hirundo rustica etc. And the coast and tidal flat environment such as Shihwei and Chungkuang etc is the main perch of some sea birds such as Prunella collaris, Charadrius alexandrinus , Ruddy Turnstone Arenaria interpres etc.
